Ojai has a long history of farming & agriculture dating back to the early 1800s.
Westridge Market is located at the east end of Ojai and we are surrounded by
farms and ranches of all types and sizes. So naturally the first place we use as
a source for produce is our own community. We work together with as many
local farmers as possible to bring our customers the best produce the Ojai Valley
has to offer. We receive produce deliveries daily and it’s not unusual to find produce
on our shelves that was picked that same day.
Organic produce is currently the fastest growing area of our produce department.
We are continually looking for new sources to expand our organic selection, and we
are adding new organic items every week. With more and more organic farms
opening up our options are "growing daily".

Variety is one thing our store is known for and our produce department is no
exception. We carry a wider variety of produce items than most stores and we are
glad to special order items as well. So if your recipe calls for a exotic ingredient or
